The Shared Story

My friend and I recently wrote a "shared story". We each wrote a paragraph at a time, and my friend ended it quite abruptly.... >.> Anyways, here's the link to the download. Enjoy...sort of.

Excuses...

I do believe slavery was wrong, and should never have happened. However, I never owned slaves, so I can't honestly say I'm sorry for it. I noticed at my school, in math class, that some African-American students believe that they have the right to go before the "whities", because their ancestors were slaves of our ancestors. In my opinion, this needs to stop. If you were never a slave, then you should not be complaining about why you have been suffering so much because of it. This doesn't mean slavery wasn't wrong; it just means that you should shut up about how we are such bad people because of what people did hundreds of years ago. And of course, I am not talking to African-Americans in general. I am merely referring to those who feel the right to call me "whitie" and assume that I am a racist because of my ancestors. And the worst part is that everybody seems to think that this is okay, and just take the comments in stride. After all, what happened 200 years ago relates to us in SO many ways, right? Basically, what I'm saying is, everybody is equal. If you want that to be true, act like it is, or we get all that war back again.

iTunes EULA...a hidden plan?

I came across a copy of the End User License Agreement for the Apple product "iTunes". Something unexpected came along near the end...

"You also agree that you will not use these products for any purposes prohibited by United States law, including, without limitation, the development, design, manufacture or production of missiles, or nuclear, chemical or biological weapons."

How am I supposed to manufacture a nuke with a digital media player? I'm SURE that's how Korea's doing it... with pirated copies of iTunes.

(By the way: I can only, at best, detect a town through my reverse DNS pinging, not only will that never reveal a house, but most people are old enough to not worry about getting kidnapped, even if I could.)

"lane sucks cock" Comment

Ha. I told you. See, the nice thing about Windows XP is that you can reverse a DNS ping from an IP address (given that you have some minimal knowledge of a DOS console), provided from each and every comment on a blog, etc. This pings the first URL that the IP address plays a major part in. I came up with a demon.co.uk entry, so I can conclude my verbal assault originated somewhere in the United Kingdoms. We beat you in the Revolutionary War, and I will beat you again. As I said before, watch yourself.

Internet issues...interesting, isn't it?

Hey, just wanted to check with you guys about internet speed. Is it normal that it would take roughly 20 minutes for every 100MB in a download? This is on average, based on all of my experiences. My average rate is 100kb/second. Also, the last commenter on my OS XI post, I am in the process of tracing your I.P. address and finding out as much about your Steve Jobs loving, lie filled head (and computer) as I can. Watch yourself. Pwned.
