You probably don't know this, but my computer has always had some problems connecting. I had to reconnect to wireless 2 or 3 times before I got a signal. Today, when I was checking my battery, I saw the antenna area. I messed around, heard a few clicks, I didn't think I did much. But now I don't have to reconnect anymore, although i still must reconnect once everytime I open the laptop, I don't see how to fix that. I also am learning basic binary number translation, which is cool. It's as easy as 1, 10 11! See you later,
Lane
(P.S. My computer is still really REALLY slow :)
Easter today, and yes, I still live in Seattle. I don't have many friends here, and yeah, I'm still single, and can see myself single 5 years from now. No problem, I have a lot more time on my hands this way. Now to the point, I went to a developer dinner for the MMO I play most, Star Wars Galaxies. The game producer, mainly a marketer, but trying to make sure the developers didn't say anything stupid, was there, and he said the words "is key" about a thousand times. "Community is KEY." "Content is KEY." "Players are, (you guessed it) KEY." Sure, he sounded like a complete idiot, but he had an awesome jacket. The developers themselves were not so bad, they made it sound like they cared about the kids in the game, but in fact, they didn't. Considering over 50% of the game is kids, they're not too smart. I still love the game, but this thing has changed my outlook on it greatly. I see why so many people quit a year ago, and I agree with them. They took the SKILL out of the game, the aspect that keeps adults worrying if they made the right choice, if they crafted the right items, if their weapons were going to be disabled (which, by the way, they were). Basically, the devs ripped the player's hearts out of their chests, as one man put it. Gotta go, see you later!
Hello! I've decided to become a multi-personality type blog. I will continue to do what I'm doing, but I will also just write about my life. Let's start with the joke many of you know, but I just learned:
There are 10 kinds of people in the world...those who understand binary, and those who don't.
